Your fleet is hit by a graviton surge and is pulled through a funnel into the void, a region of space that is devoid of stars and planets. This anomaly is a closed structure encased by an inert layer of subspace. The outer circumference is approximately 9 light years and matter and energy cannot penetrate it. In addition, your ships are being drained of energy at 10 times the normal rate. Suddenly, you find yourself attacked by other ships that are trapped in the void and your food and technological resources are being stolen by the attacking ships. All new arrivals always try to escape the void, but nothing seems to be able to breach it. And so, they all turn into thieves and killers. Welcome to the void.

This event is a stand-alone OP consisting of three games lasting 1 hour each. There are 2 prize ships available which will be awarded to first and second place, and a participation resource for all entrants.

Each player should bring a list of no more then 130 points which includes at least 3 ships. The 50/3 cap will be used for this event, following the Wizkids tournament FAQ and their exceptions listed.

Due to the chaotic backstory of the Mission, I am going to insist that each player fields ships from at least 3 different factions in their list. If a ship is dual-faction, it can count as either faction for this purpose.

In addition, the following house rules will be in play:

1) All lists should be ship-pure; your chosen ships must be from at least 3 different factions but each ship can only use upgrades from that ship's listed faction(s). The only exception to this will be if the Officer Exchange Program Resource is used (see below).

2) Shuttle craft and fighter squadrons must have a capital ship of the same faction to accompany them.

3) The oversized Borg cube will cost 60pts basic, and 62pts for the named version.

4) All lists should include a minimum of 3 ships with a 50pt cap, but the Wizkids tournament FAQ exceptions will be included (e.g. if your base ship costs more than 42pts standard). There are not exceptions to the 3-ship minimum for The Void!

5) All resources that are currently active (i.e. not outdated by the Wizkidz 'retirement' schedule up to and including High Yield Photon Torpedoes) may be used, following the usual restrictions. The Officer Exchange Program costs 5pts if this resource is taken.

6) All minefield types are considered unique.

7) The range 2 restriction will be ignored for Borg 360 degree weaponry.

8) The most up-to-date Wizkids Attack Wing FAQ and tournament FAQ will be used. Please familiarise yourself with these before the event to avoid any unpleasant surprises!

9) Arrive for 18:30 Registration and 19:00 start. If possible, bring a pre-written list with you to save time.

Please Note: Refunds can only be issued on tickets up to 14 days before the event.
