Arkham Nights 2024 - Mothership RPG Ticket

Get ready for an all new Dice Saloon Arkham Nights extravaganza!
We have put together an evening of cosmic horror just for you!

Main eventing is the Arkham Card game running the newest official standalone, The Midwinter Gala. Further details below.

For those not so interested in the card game, we have our very own George putting five unlucky travellers through their paces in a suitably themed module of the Mothership RPG. You need only bring yourselves to this game. If you have them, feel free to bring a D20, 2x D10's, a pencil and eraser.
Mothership RPG has a maximum of 5 spaces.

Perhaps you just fancy a board game, five others can join the SSAtlantis in it's 'safe' voyage back to mainland Arkham. Is everyone you travelled with who they say they are or are they working for another power and the reason your journey is riddled with dangerous threats on the ocean? Join us for Unfathomable to find out.
Unfathomable has a maximum of 5 additional spaces.

For those joining for Arkham Cards:
It’s a party to die for!
It’s the dead of winter, and Arkham’s social elite have arrived in mist-shrouded Kingsport for an exquisite gala hosted by the enigmatic Lantern Club. Unfortunately, it doesn’t take long before nightmarish creatures crash the festivities, and it falls to you to uncover the Club’s dark schemes before Arkham’s most powerful leaders all meet a terrible fate!

You will need:
  • Two legal investigator decks built to the specified XP level. Ideally one that has the ability to gain clues easily or one that can handle themselves against monsters, then your second deck can be whatever you like. The XP level will be updated based on the previous scenarios and shown in the campaign log (google doc link at bottom of page) If you own the scenario it would also be very helpful to bring that. We recommend each player bring an additional deck in the event we need to 'balance' the groups a little better. Otherwise you may end up with a team of clue getter with no real response to the other threats of the game and make for a sad experience.
  • A copy of the scenario. This is not important but we only have access to a couple of copies so extras may be required. Please do not be offended if yours aren't used.
  • A set of tokens and chaos bag along with keys, blessed and cursed chaos counters. Again this not important but we will only have access to limited sets.

We will be playing on Standard difficulty.

Standalones are much like regular scenarios however you can spend experience before the scenario like being apart of a larger campaign.
These are ideal for those less likely to be able to commit to a full campaign but enjoy the Arkham Horror experience and for those that want to test some cards before using them for a campaign.
You will need to supply your own tokens, cards and chaos tokens and scenario. It's very likely there will be enough tokens and scenarios around for use during the event however we just want to make sure everyone is covered. Your own cards/deck is a must!

When playing a standalone game (i.e., playing a single scenario as a one-off adventure, removed from its campaign), the following rules apply:
= When building a deck for a standalone game, an investigator may use higher level cards in his or her deck (so long as they observe the deckbuilding restrictions of the investigator) by counting the total experience of all the higher level cards used in the deck, and taking additional random basic weaknesses based on the following table:
0-9 experience: 0 additional random basic weaknesses
10-19 experience: 1 additional random basic weakness
20-29 experience: 2 additional random basic weaknesses
30-39 experience: 3 additional random basic weaknesses
40-49 experience: 4 additional random basic weaknesses
A player cannot include 50 or more experience worth of cards in a standalone deck.
Cards such as the 'Strange Solution (IDENTIFIED)' may also be included for these scenarios.
We would also encourage players to adhere to the rules of TABOO, Mutated and Chained/Unchained cards. See link below for the full list of FAQ's and list of affected cards.
